  1. I am finished with my 10 days of teaching and what a great experience it was. I felt myself being really stretched to come up with 3 activities everday for the three group rotate system. A great thing about this system is that I can really differentiate to meet different students needs. I challenged the students who "got it" early on to start teaching the concepts to the other students and created independent learning environments that were hands on. I felt that I had a handle on my behavior problem students and was able to keep control of the class. I am going to miss those little faces!

    1. I am glad to hear that you had a great experience with your 10 day solo teaching. I like that you were able to meet all of your students needs with the differentiate instruction.

  2. This week I was once again subbing in a fourth grade classroom at Grace B. I have never spent so much time in one classroom. Up until this point, I had only subbed a week here or there, never two weeks in a row. I have to say that it was really nice. I knew the kids, their strengths and struggles. So I felt that I was truly able to help and support them in the learning process. Before now, I had just enjoyed the kids for a day or two, then went on my way. These past two weeks have made me feel more like a teacher than I have ever felt before. I care about those kids and want them to learn and grow and succeed. It was a great AHA experience for me that I will not soon forget!

    1. I am glad that you were able to spend so much time with a set of students. It is amazing how attached you are able to get with students in that amount of time. I am glad that you were able to help and support students in their learning process.
