Sept. 14 School Visits

I hope today was a productive day for you in your visit to Mosaic and McCoy Aztec Schools.
Next Tuesday, Sept. 14, we will visiting Mesa Verde School at 12:30pm and Heights at 1:30pm.

Please remember that you are in your professional roles, so your attire should be professional-looking, therefore, jeans would be considered a little too casual dress. You are in your teacher mode when visiting schools, so you are curious, observant, reflective in each classroom you visit and with teachers and principals you meet. Remember to reflect on your visits, especially the visits you log on your own.

Mr. Sanders said he would be happy to have you come to McCoy to do your solo teaching for thse who may be interested. We will meet with Coila on Sept. 21 to go over student teaching application at 3pm (not Sept. 14 as I erroneously told you).
I am reading your 'Sweet Learnings' and thank you for sharing your family stories in recognizing what you treasure. Next week after you read part three of Sonia Nieto's Book, you will have the opportunity to articulate your own rationale for why YOU want to teach. Please post them to your webpages.
Please help me link your web addresses accurately.
See you next Tuesday and give me a holler if you have questions or concerns.
Frances

School Visits on Sept. 7

Dear PreService Teachers,
Thank you for sharing your reflections of Why We Teach. I am inspired by your dedication, sacrifice and commitment in wanting to become a teacher. My role is to support and guide you during this pivotal time of your journey toward student teaching. Your webpages are linked.

We thank Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Linda Schilz for her stories, insight and enthusiasm during our visit to the FMS Administrative Office, Tuesday, August 30.
